Fall has gotten off to a wonderful start. Read on for the latest CGS happenings.

Upcoming Comedy Night "Fun"rasier featuring Mario Cantone
This event is being sponsored in part through the generosity of Chris Dolin.

Enjoy an evening of fun and laughter while supporting CGS. Celebrated standup comedian and actor, Mario Cantone, seen on Comedy Central, Sex and the City, Chapelle's Show, and on Broadway in Assassins will entertain us with his brilliant and unique brand of humor.  Invite your friends and family.

Comedy Night will be held on November 4, 2005 at 8:00 PM at Town Hall, 123 West 43rd Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway. Join us for a Four Course Dinner before the show at 5:30 PM (not including alcoholic beverages) at Trattoria Dopo Teatro at 125 West 44th Street, between 6th Avenue and Broadway. PLEASE RSVP IMMEDIATELY SO WE MAY FINALIZE DINNER ARRANGEMENTS.

CGS Fall Kickoff Party

We celebrated the arrival of fall with our festive Kickoff Party at the office of Dr. Janet Resnick on September 18, 2005. Faculty and students enjoyed fine food, drink and conversation.

Distinguished Lecture Series

Our Distinguished Lecture Series featured, "A Conversation with Dr. Louis Ormont" with Dr. Michael Brook. A large, enthusiastic crowd turned out, enjoying refreshments beforehand, the presentation with Lou and Michael, and a question and answer session with audience members. Please stay tuned for upcoming lecture information.

Local and Weekend Training Programs

We began our Fall Local Program on September 13, 2005 with an extraordinary group of new core students from diverse clinical backgrounds. Spring semester course and registration information will be announced shortly. Please check our website or look for an email with details.

CGS held its Weekend Training Program, "Working with Unconscious Materials: Dreams, Symbolic & Non-Verbal Communication" on October 7-9, 2005 with 18 new and returning students.
