ONLINE WORKSHOP - An Introduction to Modern Group Analysis (OW91326) - 2.5 contact hours
This experiential and didactic workshop provides an overview of the foundations and key concepts of Modern Psychoanalysis and their application to group therapy. Participants will explore how this approach expanded classical psychoanalytic thinking to address challenges in working with self and others. The session introduces core Modern Psychoanalytic theory and techniques, and examines how concepts such as narcissistic transference and the therapeutic use of countertransference inform effective group interventions. Emphasis is placed on integrating individual dynamics with group process to enhance clinical responsiveness and therapeutic impact.
